Somehow, all the ponds have turned to a thick, mucus-like slime. There have been sightings of human-like figures crawling behind the treeline, and what sounds like metal being banged together at all hours of the day. This has been reported to local officials all week, but no one can find the source of these sounds. The perimeter of the local hiking hill has been completely blocked off by fallen trees, and the people who live nearby have seen a blinding glow at the top of the hill, along with sounds of guttural chants and screams.
